Hi friends! I’m Nikki, and I’m married to Daniel, a mathematician at Saint Louis University, and mother to Wiggles, an adorable cuddly shih-tzu. We reside in Saint Louis, Missouri, where we enjoy frequent visits to Forest Park and preparing delicious meals together.
I have spent most of my life dancing. Always a student of the art, I have taught and performed extensively throughout Texas and North Carolina. I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University (B.S. Economics, minor in Math) and Duke University (M.A. Economics). Currently I am working on my masters of arts in statistics at Washington University in Saint Louis, and in addition to teaching math and statistics at Saint Louis University, I am a research assistant in the Chang Lab in the Division of Public Health Sciences, Department of Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. My academic interests are in public health, biostatistics, the intersection of health and macroeconomics, and dance/movement science.
Are you curious about the picture up top? I took that in Jerusalem, Israel, in 2013. I was looking out eastward from the City of David excavation site.
